MinebeaMitsumi's linear regulators (LDOs) features products that take advantage of the strengths of both CMOS and bipolar processes : they support output currents from 100 mA to 1.5 A and offer additional functions such as soft start, reverse current protection and auto discharge, as well as output current detection, temperature sensor output and other special functions are available. MinebeaMitsumi MM3608 is a 300mA LDO with thermal shut-down. In addition to conventional overcurrent protection by current limiting, this IC detects abnormal heat production and shuts down the output to prevent destruction.
